Empowering Young Minds: Kritagyata Trust's Educational Initiative

Empowering Young Minds: Kritagyata Trust's Educational Initiative

Harihar, Karnataka: Kritagyata Trust, a dedicated nonprofit organization, has successfully launched another impactful event under its Vidya Spoorthi initiative. The trust recently distributed free educational materials to 2,000 students from 50 government schools in Harihar.

The distribution took place at Sri Tipperudraswamy High School, where students received essential items like notebooks and pens. This is just the first step in Kritagyata Trust's ambitious goal of providing resources to over 12,000 students across Karnataka this year.

Aruna Divakar, the founder of Kritagyata Trust, believes in turning challenges into opportunities. She emphasizes that overcoming obstacles can be a powerful motivator for students to excel. By providing access to libraries, laboratories, sports equipment, and more, the trust aims to ensure that every child receives the quality education they deserve.

The event was a success thanks to the dedication of teachers, school officials, and the Kritagyata Trust team. The trust is grateful for the support and encouragement it receives from the community.

A special thanks to Vishwavani Kannada news paper for covering the event.

World Environment Day

Every year on June 5th, we celebrate World Environment Day, a global call to action to protect our planet. This year's theme, "Our Land. Our Future. We are #GenerationRestoration," emphasizes the critical role of restoring our land to combat issues like desertification, drought, and climate change. The health of our land is intricately linked to our own well-being. Healthy land provides us with clean air, fresh water, nutritious food, and essential resources. However, human activity has taken a toll. Deforestation, unsustainable agriculture, and pollution are degrading our land at an alarming rate.
But there's still hope! We, Generation Restoration, have the power to heal the Earth.

Here's how you can be a part of the solution:

Reduce your footprint: Small changes in your daily life can make a big difference. Conserve water, recycle and compost, choose reusable bags, and opt for energy-efficient appliances.

Support sustainable practices: Look for products made with recycled materials and support businesses committed to environmental responsibility.

Plant a tree: Trees are nature's powerhouses, absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen. Plant a tree in your yard, join a community planting event, or donate to organizations like the Kritagyata TrustKritagyata Trust dedicated to reforestation efforts. (https://www.kritagyata.org/

Spread awareness: Talk to your family, friends, and colleagues about the importance of land restoration. Share information on social media and encourage others to take action. Kritagyata Trust: Leading the Way in Land Restoration

The Kritagyata Trust is a non-profit organization in bangalore working tirelessly to restore degraded lands in India. Through innovative reforestation projects, community outreach programs, and educational initiatives, they are creating a healthier future for our planet.

Join Kritagyata Trust in Spreading Happiness

“Laugh, Connect, Thrive: Join Kritagyata Trust in Spreading Happiness”

Join us at Kritagyata Trust as we embrace the power of laughter to bring joy and happiness into the lives of everyone. It is often said that “laughter is the best medicine,” and there’s truth to that statement. When we laugh, our bodies release endorphins, natural pain relievers that alleviate our stress, anxiety, and depression.

Kritagyata Trust Not only does laughter have a positive impact on our emotional well-being, but it also strengthens our relationships. Sharing moments of laughter with our family, friends, and colleagues while enjoying a comedy movie, a funny cartoon, or simply sharing jokes brings us closer together and boosts our immune system.

It infuses our lives with cheer and uplifts our mood, keeping us young at heart. Laughter is indeed a medicine that offers numerous benefits. It stimulates our lungs, relaxes our muscles, and reduces the levels of stress hormones in our bodies. Additionally, it enhances the functioning of our blood vessels, contributing to our overall physical well-being.

Dear students, it’s important to remember that while laughter increases our memory power, we must be mindful not to direct jokes or laughter at the expense of others, including differently-abled individuals or senior citizens. Laughter should always spread positivity within our families and society as a whole.

Let’s explore the essence of laughter through the acronym LAUGH: L – Loving: When we laugh, we spread love and kindness. A – Ageless: It keeps us youthful, regardless of our age. U – Untiring: Laughter energizes us and keeps us active. G – Generous: It inspires us to be generous and giving to others. H – Happiness: Laughing brings happiness, not just to ourselves, but to those around us.

So let’s laugh, laugh, and laugh! Embrace agility and vitality, and let the sound of hearty laughter fill our lives. Ha ha ha ha ha!

At Kritagyata TrustKritagyata Trust, our primary goal is to spread joy and happiness through various projects and initiatives. We invite you to join hands with us in our mission to spread laughter and happiness. Together, we can make a difference.

How volunteers can help NGO’s

Have you ever considered best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others. — Mahatma Gandhi

Before I dive into convincing you to volunteer in an NGO, let me explain what it actually is. An NGO is a non-governmental organization that supports voluntary social services and is not for profit. An NGO is committed to a specific objective, typically one that has to do with improving a particular community or contributing towards a social cause.

Through the implementation of welfare and development volunteering? Several nonprofit organisation from having volunteers’ assistance, and in some cases, they entirely rely on it. In addition to helping a cause they believe in; volunteers can obtain a real understanding of the circumstances and culture around the cause.

They have the chance to interact with people from all backgrounds. It encourages students to learn about other cultures, develops their lateral thinking, and helps them become more mature and tolerant of other people’s behaviors because volunteering teaches you why others act the way they do. Why should one volunteer in an NGO at all? Most significantly, to enhance the quality of life for those who are less fortunate.

Volunteering provides essential assistance to those in need while simultaneously influencing society in a positive way. We feel happy as we offer more. It is a means of contributing to society. By working as a volunteer for an NGO, you contribute your talents to the same effort to improve the world. It helps you become more sensitive to ongoing situations and teaches you humility since you can connect with others more easily and meet people from diverse backgrounds.

It is a win-win situation since, in addition to helping an NGO reach out and improve the world, you also gain humility and acquire more effective communication techniques. Kritagyata Trust, is one such NGO in Bangalore, that aims at the upliftment of women and children from various circumstances that limit their access to basic needs and collaborates with organizations for various educational initiatives.

Their vision says: “To empower, engage and educate children and women from lower sections of the society, so that they are able to stand up for themselves and find their voice in a society that needs to be built on respect, dignity and equality for every individual, regardless of their gender, caste or class.”
